The Board of Directors is responsible for fund management and day-to-day management of the portfolio. Prior to making an investment, the Board will present a comprehensive analysis of the purchase, including due diligence findings and financing options, to the Investment Committee. If the Committee approves the investment, the property will be purchased.
Henrik Koch
Chief Executive Officer, Broadgate Capital
Henrik Koch has over 10 years of experience in general management, operations, marketing, sales and business development. As the CEO of Broadgate Capital, Henrik is responsible for the overall strategy and the daily operation driving business to excel. Prior to Broadgate Capital, Henrik was a Managing Director and initially a CFO for one of Europe's leading book producer with in excess of 200 MEUR turnover. Under his management the Group went through a successful delisting from the Stock Exchange and expanded its market share from the Scandinavian region to Europe through major acquisitions. Throughout his time at the Group, Henrik managed with success several turnarounds within the Group.
Henrik has also served in senior positions at an international bank in Luxembourg. He played an essential role in structuring it to become one of the fastest growing financial groups in Europe by building up successful corporate finance.
Henrik graduated from the Copenhagen/Westsaelland School of Economics and Business Administration with a specialised degree in accounting and now attending the INSEAD Executive Business Programme in France.
Jorgen Smidt
Chairman, Broadgate Capital
Jorgen Smidt has over 20 years of experience in general and operational management, product marketing and business development. As a Director and Chairman of Broadgate Capital he is driving business processes and operational excellence. Prior to Broadgate Capital Jorgen was the Director of Operations Solutions and Managed Services for Nokia, as well as a member of the global management team. As the Director, Jorgen was responsible for overall strategy and P&L for the US. From 2004 and into 2005, Jorgen grew sales by more than 40% year over year for both product lines.
Since 1992 Jorgen held several senior management positions at Nokia including Sales, Business Development, and Operations. During this time he built numerous significant businesses from the ground up and established business relationships with major telecom operators in Europe, North and South America. He built Nokia’s service organizations across Scandinavia, Finland, UK, Benelux, Switzerland, CIS, Poland and the Middle East. During this time Jorgen had headcount varying between 500 and 1000 employees and sales up to €240 million.
Prior to Nokia Jorgen was an Area Manager for Motorola in Scandinavia. Jorgen graduated from Københavns Teknikum in Denmark with a BS in Engineering and Computer Science.
